God Who Perfects

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.(Psalm 138:8)

Beloved, we are in the threshold of a new month. You may be worried and troubled about the problems you face in life. The Lord promises you saying, “The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace” (Psalm 29:11).

Take courage and have the confidence that you can do all through Christ Who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). God will surely bless you and give you peace. Whatever happens in this month, commit your ways to the Lord and trust in Him and He shall bring it to pass. All you have to do is give your heart to the God of Peace and follow Him so that He dwells with you and walks with you (2 Corinthians 6:16). Never do things that displease Him and you shall receive His rich blessings.

The head of a family decided to give his daughter in marriage and finalized the date also. As the day for the wedding was fast approaching, there were many arrangements yet to be sorted out. But, he looked calm and relaxed. When the relatives enquired if all the arrangements had been completed, he just smiled and said nothing. Some very close relatives even got angry and chided him for being indifferent and irresponsible. Yet, he continued to take everything easy and just smiled. When the day came, everyone in the family shared the responsibility and everything went on smoothly. The function ended as a memorable day.

When everything was over, he said with his usual smile on his face. “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me(Psalm 138:8) is my experience and my faith. I know my God used each and every one of you to make the marriage a great success. I thank you all for your support and help.” Then only they understood the secret of his success in life.

Beloved, God will never put to shame those who trust in Him. So seek Him and hold onto Him diligently. He will perfect everything that which concerns you. He will remain with you and bless you abundantly (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father,Be with me and guide me throughout this month. I praise You for the promise that You will strengthen Your people and bless them with peace. Father, You will never put to shame those who trust in You and help me to trust in You come what may. Perfect everything that which concerns me and bless me. Fill me with Your peace and strength. In Jesus’ name I pray.
